38mm LVL Scaffold Plank with High Load Bearing Capacity
This 225 mm wide LVL scaffold plank is pressed from rotary peeled poplar and pine veneers with waterproof phenolic adhesive under high temperature and pressure. Every layer runs parallel to the grain direction, which gives the plank a dense, knot free core and predictable bending behaviour under repeated site loading. It replaces solid wood scaffold boards with a dimensionally stable engineered section that holds its stiffness across wet and dry cycles and stays in service for many project turnovers.
Load Bearing Performance
- Parallel grain lamination gives consistent bending strength and stiffness from plank to plank.
- No knots, splits, hollow cores or finger joint gaps that shorten the working life of natural timber.
- Controlled density and 8 to 12 percent moisture content keep deflection stable in hot and humid climates.
- Waterproof phenolic glue line resists delamination after rain, washing or repeated wet use.
- Edge bearing and mid span load values can be supplied for scaffolding and formwork design checks.
